The dish was commissioned to celebrate 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. There are 70 flutes hand sculpted into the dish’s surface representing the her incredible reign. The flutes come to a focal point in the centre that bares the Grocers company insignia, along with the date of the jubilee and a hand punched hallmark.
